I bought the BL-5000 a year ago. Love it! If you don't have space in your home garage for an actual 2 post lift, this is the next best thing. Gives you tons of space underneath the car to do anything between oil changes and welding exhaust systems. Way more convenient than a floor jack and jack stands. People are complaining that it doesn't *look* safe, but I can tell you from first hand experience that it is perfectly safe. Was redoing an exhaust system on a Firebird and left it on the QuickJack for a whole week no problems.

I have the 7000 lb. version and love it. I use jack stand along with the height locks on the jacks.

$1500 isn't too bad. If I didn't live in an apartment, I'd buy one of these.

I just bought the 5k lbs one figured I’ll look at video. Wow jack is installed backwards on one shot, then hoses routed from the front, then routed to the rear. He didn’t loose. Tires before jacking up or impact wrench? I guess I’ll make my own video!!

Quick Jack recommends that you do not run over the hoses, they are not designed for that.

If you value your life I would suggest that you use jack stands as a backup.

All of this is fine and dandy but once you get it done still put your jack stands underneath the axles and four corners

They are using the bl-5000 in this video shown at 0:50 seconds, not the 7000 as stated in the title. This may be misleading if you are trying to see if you can drive a low sports car over the 7000 model so you can have the 7000 for both trucks and low cars. This bl-5000 is rated up to 5000lbs whereas the bl-7000 is rated for a max of 7000 lbs.

Bought the 7000. Out of the box, electronic module was snapped off by the hydraulic carrying case. When someone assembled it, they didnt bother to notice the module would hit the case when bolted down. Bad design that should and can be easily fixed. Next up; Jacking my 6400 lb Hummer H2 past the middle locking peg and releasing, the jack to lock, the lock bar does not lock and pops off the peg.I tried it a few times with no success. Quite scarry. Same with my 6200 lb GMC Yukon. Will not secure in the middle peg. It however does secure if you jack the vehicle all the way up to the last locking peg I believe due to the angle of the locking bar. The middle peg works on my lighter vehicles. I believe the bar has more vertical angle at the end locking peg which is why it locks. As for lift. It carries both 6000 plus vehicles up and down with ease. Next up, lowering the vehicle. If you do not use blocks or purchase their 200 USD extender for trucks, the jack will not retract all the way flat. While pressing the down button, you or someone will have to stand or put a foot on each jack leg to fully lower it. Next : Ive noticed a wobble / bend in the jack hardware after lifting the heavy vehicles. This is probably due to the garage floor not being perfectly flat and the weight of the vehicles. Jack is no longer true flat to the floor but has not broken anywhere, just slightly bent.

Positives, it makes life easy when working under a vehicle accompanied by a creeper. On heavy vehicles and the 7000 I would use jack stands.
