Every time I see someone recommend soldering something while the pins that you are soldering are actively seated in a breadboard, it makes me shudder. This could potentially damage your breadboard, it can warp the plastic or the metal contacts inside the breadboard, which can in turn damage any components you attempt to place in the warped section of breadboard. Don't do it people, it's not worth it! Buy a helping hands kit or anything less potentially destructive than this!

You do know that the Raspberry Pi is something entirely different, right? It's an SBC, whereas this is a Raspberry Pi Pico, a development board for the RP2040 microcontroller.

nice way to ruin a breadboard. The pins will oxidize and become insulated.

Worst advice ever. Use the Pico SDK with the installer package and Visual Studio Code. And even better, program one as a picoprobe so you can debug code in real time.

And for god sake get a decent solder iron.
