Patriarchy exists every where. Its all pervasive. This short film, produced for ActionAid India, takes you into the lives of three women, who bear the brunt of an unjust, unfair system. Each minute of the short will reveal to you a story, that is evocative and poignant.

woah a thought provoking scenario, really feel about the person and think about ourselves . living in such hardships, no complaints, no bliss in life only work to carry water in exchange for roof and food and then retire like abandoned wagons ! really the govt must bring schemes to include these trully debt ridden ones to the mainstream instead of the undeserved .

being a city person...this is a serious blow of reality to me sad that this is a practice in some parts of rural India. given that its not a very rampant thing .. but situation force people to the extreme..and we adapt to it...that is why we are such a small nation yet have so much population.... we are not fighters we are adapters... hope Water and power crises are dealt with in future India Vision 2020 ... Jai Hind...
