I'm not even American and I seriously dislike that Romney guy, everyone I know does he just seems so fake or out of touch... And to be perfectly honest I really want to have to see him on the TV for the next however many years until the next US election, his smile irritates me to no end... Big Bird is perfectly capable of surviving and thriving without a taxpayer subsidy. Why do my tax dollars go to support Big Bird and not Mickey Mouse? PBS may have been necessary years ago when there were only a few television stations to choose from, but today there are 100s of stations and the internet, and the PBS shows like Sesame Street that have an audience would easily find a new home.
Even Big Bird is now saying he doesn't need Obama's help!
