Someone once asked me what the point of photorealistic painting was if the result is so much like a photograph. I didn't have an answer then but I think it's this: artists observe more closely the things that we all see every day but fail to actually observe it. When we see it represented in brush strokes, we observe it more closely because it is being pointed out to us.
You paint with wonderful observation!
