This is a collection of video segments from a day at the track on June 1st, 2013 at Motorsport Ranch Cresson. We're on the 1.7 mile track running in the counter clockwise direction. Weather is overcast with a high of 93 and a low of 79 when the cold front rolled through. We had a slight amount of light rain in the afternoon that didn't last very long and didn't have a big impact on conditions. I am driving a 2012 MX5 PRHT with 140whp that is mostly stock. I've put on 9" rims so I can run Hankook RS3s at 255/40R17. After the checkout ride, I've included some bloopers and highlights. Hope you enjoy.

Yeah, I still struggle with shifting in corners like that.

Oh, and I think I know one of the places. Between Buzzard Neck (4) and Horseshoe (5), I wasn't using enough of the track, slowed too much and tried to stay too far right for the uphill section of Horseshoe. I saw this in some of another driver's videos the other day. I'll experiment with that next time. I'm going to guess you don't like my line through Big Bend as well. :)

Chris spun it out coming out of Wagon Wheel (I think). We were on a yellow and that's when I saw him off the racing line pointed the wrong direction. I lifted and held my line on the inside. He was waiting for me to pass, made sure there was no more traffic coming from that direction and then turned it around. It looks worse than it was in the video.

Which three places is the line wrong? Always wanting to learn. I did the 3.1 the previous week. :)
