Hey girl! Fellow gardener here. Permaculture tip: if you cover the topsoil with something ( alfalfa, straw etc) you'll conserve the moisture/ nutrients in the soil. Basically think of sunblock for the soil. You'll do less work and your plants happier.

You would love the brand To Be Hawaii!! They're based on Maui and they make everything in their shop. Karli, the owner has sensitive skin/autoimmune issues and is super passionate about making natural, clean products. I worked with them while I lived on island and they've really changed the game for me. Can't live without them now!

My daughter had a lot of tomato plants in her garden. If a branch ever got broken she would put it in water and they would sprout roots and she got more plants. My mom saved many plants that way but she would put fish fertilizer in the water too.
