Scott knew Taylor since she was a teenager and and basically gave Taylor her first contract. Big machine owned her music from her debut album to reputation. She knew he was going to sell her music albums along with big machines and showed her interest on buying them but Scott didn't sell it to her he sold it to Scooter Braun with whom Taylor had bad blood and due to some business relations. Taylor told it in an interview it wasn't just about money but songs she wrote, sang and videos she created was owned by someone else especially someone she hates. And this has been done in the past to other artists as well. So she decided she's gonna re-record her music. So if you see something written "Taylor's version " that means she owns it. And also she was hurt because she really trusted Scott since her teenage.
