5 killed, 200+ injured after car drives through German Christmas market

5 people have been killed, including a child, and more than 200 others are injured after a car came barreling through the streets of a busy Christmas market in the country's north-east region. Karling Donoghue reports.

This is tragic, what is almost as tragic is the logical disconnect calling him an islam'a'phobe, clearly his fear of Islam would lead him to drive through a crowd at a Christ mass market.

It's long past time the western world do a top to bottom review of who it let's into it's countries and why. And also how many people are let in overall. Canada has a really excellent track record of integrating immigrants but it seems many new immigrants are clearly not appropriate for our country. Also, that new immigrants can bring their aged parents into Canada - people who have never contributing a single dime through taxation or any effort through work to this country - and then be placed in a queue for government services (especially healthcare and family doctors) ahead of Canadian born citizens is outrageous and unacceptable. New immigrants must be told that if they cannot immigrate to Canada without bringing their retired parents along, they must stay where they are. Canada does not need to burden it's healthcare or any other services with retirees who have never contributed a dime to Canada.
