This man represents the black race to the core. I love listening to his commentary and PBS specials.

He's right, I watch him on PBS sometimes. And non-Americans of African origin, I am not American but I live in the States since 1994. "Race" is mostly an issue in the US, when I lived in Brussels, Belgium, born and raised there, I rarely thought about it and skin colours. Slavery existed in Africa, Israel, Egypt, etc, nothing new, of course slavery is wrong. Yes, true, individual responsibility. I'm an independent, and global citizen, voted Green. I don't care about black, white, red, blue, I look beyond that. We're all diverse, not all the same, don't speak the same way, or think the same, not the same language. I speak French, English, Spanish, and some Italian.

PERSONALLY I'm GLAD this is BEING OPENLY and HONESTLY DISCUSSED by not ONLY BLACK AMERICA, but all of AMERICA for REASON in PETIULAR, HOPEFULLY it will DESTORY a LIE that NEVER should been in the FIRST PLACE but LONG TERM has to GREAT DEAL of D
FRICTION in BLACK AMERICA itself at TIMES in my OPINION . For some REASON we could ACCEPT DIFFERENCE of OPINION in other RACES it this NATION , but AMONGST US as BLACK AMERICANS .. It's there and it's always going to be there, For some MANY YEAR'S PEOPLE have TRY to SELL the of a SOLID BLACK BLOCK VOTE in this NATION which NEVER EXSITED to those WHOM knew the TRUTH . This BLACK BLOCK VOTE was a BLACK COMMUNITY which NEVER EXSITED EXCEPT for those WHOM wanted and needed it . What did LEAD to in MIND was FINGER POINTING and NAME CALLING which was UNJUSTIFIED and UNSERVED of PEOPLE WHOM took a DIFFERENT STANCE on a ISSUE exspecially if they did not FAVOR the ISSUE or ISSUES . So in my PERSONAL OPINION it HURT more the HELPED .Some JUST ACCEPT the SIMPLE FACT YOIR CAUSE is not EVERYONE elses CAUSE . UNTIL WE can ACCEPT and LIVE with that SIMPLE TRUTH of LIFE there WILL NEVER UNITY of the TYPE some ENVISION and TALK ABOUT, it's JUST NOT GOING to happen UNTIL PEOPLE REALIZE and UNDERSTAND we have no PREMINENT CAUSES or ISSUES only . INTEREST which it the BETTERMENT of all of US.

Much of what is being said is true while some of it is based on lazy stereotypes that have been refuted by actual peer-reviewed research. He is kind of guilty of the very thing he accuses other of.

What is the name of the article he wrote in 1998? I want to read it. I know that what he says is true. I have always known that, but I want to read his article.

Also, why does the interviewer sound angry at times? Also, where is the rest of the interview?
