The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.

Thanks to MDA for sharing this!! I hope you will share all of his performances from the telethons. I want people who don't already know, to know who Billy Gilman was long before The Voice. I love how he still uses similar gestures with his hands/arms and body. The way he moves to the beat is what he still does. The Voice people had tried to get Billy to audition for at least 3 years before this one. If you doubt me, there is a radio interview with him on here that was done just a few days after the finale and it came straight from Billy's mouth.
