Voting is extremely important, so important that we cannot afford to sit on the couch. But it is only part of what is needed to realize the fruits of our vote. We have to participate once we vote for the candidates that have our interests at the forefront. Participation at our local schools where our children attend, taking positions on school boards, and involving ourselves in state politics, along with involvement in national politics and discourse. It doesn't end with the voting booth. We have to lay the groundwork and build coalitions. That's how we ensure our votes are meaningful.
There is absolutely no excuse to not vote. Remember someone down the line in our families paid a heavy price so that you can vote.
VOTE Kamala Harris! VOTE BLUE!

I am a 69 year old black man and I am not voting for Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. I don't like either candidate. Many black women and men members in the Divine 9 will only vote for Harris because she's an AKA and a Howard University graduate. Neither party has done nothing for black American U.S. citizen.
