Lake Tahoe: Loved it when I visited, The most Amazing thing about Lake Tahoe was that whatever minerals are in there, It sparkles as if there are gold flakes all through it. Was a neat drive up, elevation is really high. Oh and the water was freezing cold to swim in!

Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire is my favorite. It’s spectacular in the fall when the maple trees surrounding it are ablaze with color.
