I was listening to this song on repeat last night while I was watching my dog, just to stay focused.
He had gotten out of surgery some hours earlier for a 3-pound tumor.
He was 10 pounds without the tumor.
I sat by him to make sure he was okay for hours. At around midnight I was sure he was going to live through the night so I went to my room and laid down. About 10 minutes later my mom's bf tells me he stopped breathing.
The three of us sat around him while he passed and I was the last one to hear his heartbeat. My other dog wouldn't even go near him.
I will never forget that dog.

When I was younger, my mom used to take me at night too drives at night, all night. We used to get McDonald's, drive around at night in empty cities. We used to also play around and have fun, we used to go to her friends house at like 2am and eat laffy taffy. I miss those old days so much.

This reminds me of me and my mom dancing in the middle of the living room listening to the best music we could think of with her roomates and just partying and eating snacks until 5am. Then we’d just sleep all day and continue the cycle, we would blast it to the point where we got a couple complaints but we didnt care, we were having the times of our lives, dancing, laughing and creating memories together. I miss those times.
