I had a lumpectomy and 8 lymph nodes removed. Only stage1a breast cancer with nothing in the lymph nodes. They said to stay home a little over two weeks!! I took off 2 days short of a month!! It takes a while to not feel sore and I work in a hospital kitchen and I do a lot of heavy lifting and pushing and bending and so I took off the month.

Hello. Thank you for sharing. I had double mastectomy 9/11/2024.no reconstructions. I work as a Hospice Nurse Assistant. That requires heavy lifting, from light and heavy dead weight. My wounds healed.however, my inside isn’t yet. I have nerve pains. Controlled by meds. Also, My ROM- range of motion on my arms-shoulders are still a bit tight.
