Now, there's a unique way of tracking down dog owners who refuse to pick up after their dog's poop. PooPrints is a DNA laboratory in Knoxville, Tennessee that specializes in dog poop. The lab processes 18,000 samples a month and generated more than $65 million in fines for their clients.

The complex I used to live in did this. People were annoyed by it but it was more annoying for the rest of us that didn’t have dogs and were sick of not being able to walk through the grass.

I've literally walked my dog home and then walked back across to the other side of the neighborhood to bag his poop. Not because I was unprepared, but because my dog decided it was a two dump kind of day. Started bringing two bags after that. It's not that hard, people.

I suffered with dog poop on my garden for around a year. My neighbor let's his dogs free at night so that they can poop in the garden of other houses.I caught him once around 3:00 in the morning, when I was working late into night; he let his dog on my front yard to do the deed, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, so I waited for him to go inside, but he didn't pick up after and, since he knows that I saw him, cause I opened the curtains when he was leaving, I now never have dog poop on my yard and neither my nearest neighbors. -_-
