Yes! The Mayor of Casterbridge! I’m so excited that we’re reading this together! Thomas Hardy is my favorite author, and I’ve been wanting to read this one but just haven’t gotten to it yet.

So excited for Victober! Jane Eyre is going to be my pick, I think, because I haven't read it before and I'm gonna be watching the adaption of it, so I can fill two prompts with one book. But Olive, Hester, and the HG Wells book also look really good! :O I'm getting spoiled for choice with all these suggestions haha.

*Victober is my favorite* and I'm oh so excited! 👏🏻 I am the worst when it comes to choosing a TBR, but I purchased Ruth a few months ago, in anticipation of Victober, so that's at least a possibility. 🤓 I was also planning to read David Copperfield, but maybe I'll go with Villette instead. 🙄 Either way, I'm excited to read my first Thomas Hardy. Thank you, as always, for hosting!

So wonderful! This will be my first time participating, and I'm so excited. I have a huge anthology of "Classic Fantasy" stories, and many of the stories are Victorian. I think I'll read those! There are also at least two stories in Handheld Press's anthology, "Women's Weird" that fall into the late Victorian period, so I might add those in as well! My husband and I are thinking of reading Dracula together, too, this year.
