I own a Cummins and love it. However the 6.0 is a great sounding motor and i wouldn't mind having one some day as a spare truck. for those who hate. Every vehicle has its issues. Maintenence is key.

I had a 04 f350 6.0. I had to put 10k into the first year I had it but I can promise you the damn thing sounded like a built fighterjet haha loved everysecond of it when it did work.

I have seen people up and downs about the 6.0 i love mine, only thing my 03 f350 doesnt have is A/C and it doesnt affect how it runs or drive so I'm in no hurry to fix that and I'm over 400k miles.

7.3 in my opinion sounds better. mine has a tune and is at 523k miles. Still finishes any job and loves when i give it the beans.

I bought a 6.0 for the power and the sweet sound. I keep the 6.0 because i have so much $ into fixing it that selling it would be a huge loss. Idc i still love this truck, putting an oil cooler in this weekend 😂
