Exquisite performance! The way she caressed those lyrics with her vocal This was her moment and HER song but she give us the spirit of Anita in the undertones!!!! The essence and meaning of the lyric was not lost and so we were able to feel the same things we felt from the original but in a way we never heard it before! Great jazzy melodic choices!

I stopped watching this show years ago but ran across this video. I am shocked to read she went home. That run near the end of her performance was better than even Anita Baker sang. It was incredible and gives me chills every time I hear it. That no one picked her up is dumb.
