man, my girlfriend broke up with me yesterday. the pain and emptiness in your heart stings while knowing you weren’t good enough makes me want to break down every single day. with being diagnosed with depression and anxiety, it makes me feel like i have no where to go or no purpose in life anymore. and while society says men cant cry is so stupid, men are humans and should be able to experience emotions.

I will never understand the people who say men shouldn’t cry.
It’s a pathetic and stupid thing to say because crying and tears come from very strong emotions, things that hit very hard and made you feel something very strongly, there is no such thing as “he/she cried for a stupid reason” you don’t cry for nothing.
The double standards people put for both men and women is ridiculous and messed up.

They say stuff to women like: “women must have a body like this a body like that”, “don’t wear to much makeup but don’t wear to little or you’ll look tired”, “if you cover up your body insecure and if show it of your asking for it”, “you only belong in the kitchen”, “are you really going to eat all that?”

And they say stuff to men like: “you shouldn’t cry or you’re weak”, “you should be making more money”, “why don’t you have a six pack”, “why are you short you should be at least 6 feet tall”, “if you nice to women and respect them your a simp”
