My first guess was Africa (of course I thought it were the Pyramids and not the walls of Benin!). That pause when Fry says the British destroyed it, was loaded.

Guinness considers the Walls of Benin to be the second largest earthworks in the world, after the Great Wall of China. The walls were said to be four times longer than the Great Wall of China but much shorter and narrower, covering less area and containing less mass overall. Of course, it depends how you measure it.

Interesting fact - Walls of Benin is in Nigeria and not in Benin.
This is because it is in Benin City which became a part of the British Empire and later became a part of Nigeria.
