Can't seem to find a legit answer... Why the blank spot on the dorsal fin?  I understand its purpose in general in terms of 737NG aircraft design. (The dorsal fins leading edge sheds a vortex that counters the rudder hinge moment reversal) Is it a concern that a decal will impact its effectiveness?
I really like this livery but that blue dorsal fin sticks out like a sore thumb when looking at the aircraft.

Which tartan is it?  It isn't, but it looks similar to "Scotland Forever", a non clan tartan.
