This is one of those chevys that the owner boasted can go 10, 000 miles between oil changes. Just change the oil it’s not hard

It just looks like that engine was pushed hard for an injector to fail. Look at the oil

My Lb7 had new new injectors, head studs, and oil pan replacement due to a stripped drain plug last year. There was no sludge like that, and pistons were fine.

That's a Duramax for you. A regular failure that can be avoided just by paying closer attention to your truck. A sad and expensive situation. 🤔

Old, Cummins and Detroit. We put a new piston in them. Put them back together and run them for thousands of miles it was common as the flu in winter back in day👍

The postulation of the injector will often negate is punctuation and articulate negatively on the top of the piston depending on the concentricity of the cylinder wall. This is very common with large internal combustion engines.👍

I disinterested a piston in a zz4 roller motor pretty much turned to dust rod stuck in wall melted the combustion chamber, from what i figured out the distributor came apart springs were corroded, just decided one Friday not 5 minutes from leave work in let got.... poof white smoke lol

If you want this to happen faster run propane injection. When luquid propane hits the pstions the metldown is impressive. The diesel will run like hell until it happens.🎉
