Wow! That was a sound of my youth! Carl Wayne was the singer with the Move, the first singer on radio one (Flowers in the Rain) and a top session singer of jingles and stuff! Dies a few years ago of cancer, worked with hinm once...lovely man...friendly and professional!!

I always think of Christmas Eve 1973 whenever I hear this song. I wasn't even three years old at the time. Such is the power of music.

I was helping my 7 year old with his homework and as he was proudly sticking his gold sticker stars on his correct answers i started singing this song to him at random. He asked "come on dad thats not a real song is it"..."hold on son...YouTube"...and here we are. Hes now happily singing the chorus to himself up in his room. Generational!
