Bought the album in '88 and to date still one of my favourites.

Anyone who can write stuff like this is a genius. How this wasn't a massive hit escapes me.

Thomas Dolby was a genius. his first 3 albums were literally hearing a mad scientist make music and it was great :)

I've always loved songs with almost random, improvised sound textures and atmospheres. Thomas Dolby, a master of this technique, proves his genius at it on this track (and on the whole album).

This song should have been a major hit.

What a bass line...just crawls under your skin, buries into your muscles, and makes you sway.

Everything about this album is pure genius. The driest, tightest mixes to ever come out of this era.

Had this on cassette. The player in car decided to eat it on a hot summer night.
I mourned the loss of that tape. I eventually found it on cd. I don't have to tell you how amazing he is. If you're here then you already know.

Bought the album and right after That I found out he and the band were playing in Phoenix soon. I bought the tickets, drove from Tucson to Phoenix and super pleased to find out is was a small venue. Practically sitting right at the band's feet. Awesome show and unforgettable. Only a few get into Dolby and I am one of those few.

Ingenious ! One of the greatest albums in history of magnetic tape and the rest of the gimmicks!

This song is an overlooked gem.  Was lucky to hear this on the radio when it came out and never let it out get away.

What Yo Chichear said - still gives me goosebumps after all these years. Flat freakin awesome. I never get tired of it. I have had T.D. music in rotation in my car for YEARS. The man is genius. Now lets talk about I Love You Goodbye -

blimey, how did I miss this one! I need to spend more time sifting through Mr Dolby's back catalogue in case I have missed any other chestnuts...

I also love this song, and hope to someday witness him unleashing it live!

Wasn't lost to me, I bought the entire album without hearing anything but Airhead and I was never disappointed. If the album was considered a commercial disappointment nobody who has ever heard it cares. The artist at his very best.
