Oh wow, great video with so much great gear! Coming from the time of Film Cameras I find it great that one can watch videos on YOUTUBE and learn and see things one couldn't before. Funny so many Photographers don't have assistants many times so those Reflectors that are light and ergonomically speaking have a handle come in supper handy. Beautiful pictures Ms. Vanesa Joy, thanks for sharing great stuff through this channel!

Thanks for this! My favorite combination is the multitude of effects that can be achieved by combining a reflector with a Speedlite. Even with on-camera flash, it almost makes me a one man photo studio. Busy background, harsh light, flat light, no light: no problem...just hope the wind doesn't blow too hard.

You can also point your flash towards the reflector as a flash modifier

The lastolite comes in a version with several skins and Velcro attachment no zippers! I love mine use it outdoors all the time!

I bring a 5-1 reflector to most shoots but one of my favorites is a 2-sided sunfire and white reflector from California Sunbounce. I find the handle convenient for single man ops.

I use that glow style reflector as a diffuser a lot as well. I love my super soft silver reflector from Rogue as probably my most go to. Westcott omega reflector is fun too and I really like how it’s set up also. However, that tri reflector looks handy too especially when I’m by myself. Hmmm 🤔 lol

My first learn on the job task with video was to hold a pop up circular reflector I was handed. I didn't even know what it was for. We were video taping farm equipment in motion, in a field, and the sun was not where it could illuminate our subject. You can't ask a $100, 000 tractor towing equipment to just turn around and face the sun in under half a minute. So the reflector could bounce the harsh sun as I walked along to keep pace with the camera man.

Is a Canon 1 dx III not overkill for portraits or weddings ? I'd use it for birds or sports. For weddings I'd use a 5DIV, 5Ds(R) etc …
