Natalie Weiss Impromptu Performance at David Foster & Katharine McPhee show

A day that started at the poker table ended with me performing ON stage with the icon himself, David Foster - the incredible writer and producer behind too many hits to list, including this song I’m singing here! 🤯 I know I appear calm and cool here, but I was literally shaking, trying to remember breath and pitch while thinking about 8 year old Natalie and her childhood dreams. This music shaped me. Thank you to David and Kat for being so incredibly warm and welcoming. This was such an honor!

She has built such a beautiful, passionate career that’s highlighted some of her greatest gifts! She could’ve stopped along the way, but she stayed engaged with what she knew she was put on this Earth to do!! Natalie - you shine so bright! She’s incredible. Her voice sounded warmer than usual here. You can tell she was very nervous, as her hand was on her chest while she was talking to David Foster, and I think she rushed a couple of phrases there, but she still overall did so amazingly, and is in such a good vocal shape. And she brought the feelings of course.

This was such a pleasure to listen to. Your projection was perfect! So easy to over do it on this song, imo. I would have had an anxiety attack if I got called up to sing in front of those two.
