Your turn. Last year, BC in Canada, had 38.5C, sun day after day, forest fires. Now it’s barely been over 22C, clouds and showers, been a lot cooler 😏

35.6C was the highest temp of 1976. It lasted 15 days with temperatures ranging into the low 30s well into August. Roads melted. I know, I dug stones out of one after the tar turned to mush. But no red alerts, no Gretas, and no Met Office hype. Add 5C and now it is a global catastrophe.

I am from Georgia, and we have had 40 C for one or two months every year, the past 20+ years ... I am not sure it is an emergency, the media just want to portraite everything as gloom and doom. You just have to be aware of heat and hydration ... It is really bad on the elderly and the sick though. So be mindful, check on the seniors and kids, and enjoy the summer!
