It's like finding fish in dessert hahaha... Gms is just for Android phone and I think Huawei is not an android anymore (if global version will run HarmonyOS) correct me if I'm wrong.

No need to compare, bro. Mate Xs has larger screen and yet almost 50% thinner, 200% better camera resolution, it has internal storage 512GB + nano card 256GB. I will wait for next 5 years to see if the Fold comes close.

Great comparison! I am a fold 3 user and rarely open for use other than reading. I have to say I am ratger disappointed with the smaller screen on the front which is coincidently the one that I use more frequently. Its rather narroweness makes it quite difficult to write... that is a MAJOR issue, believe me. The Hauwei seems a good option

Ngl the xs mate looks really good compares to the z fold 3. If i were to buy one I'd pick xs mate anyday. And i think android is pretty flexible enough even without gms, as you can toggle around something to make it work. Anyway bro iam really impressed with your video quality, it never disappointed me and always fun to watch. I really hope your channel will grow bigger. I will always support your work bro✊.

The differences don't stop at what you listed. There's also no 5G support for current Huawei flagship devices, being limited to 4G, only. Still super fast, but perhaps a sore point for people who think that having the highest numbers means everything. This isn't, of course, Huawei's fault. It's on account of the US government basically wielding the regulatory system as an anti-competitive weapon against any company that threatens to dethrone their own devices from "World's most used" devices.

I would LOVE to own a Mate XS2, but it's priced a bit above my paygrade, mixed with my not really feeling like I used the folding function of the Galaxy Fold 1, when I owned it, back at launch. It was a cool phone for a few days, then became a pain to unfold each time I wanted to use it, so I went back to slab style phones.

Maybe the whole foldable feature will become something I'll want later, but we're not there, yet.

Anyhow, thanks for this comparison, it was enjoyable to watch.

My main issue would be the screen on the Huawei, being an external folding screen. As the screen is exposed 100% of the time, it seems to me that it would constantly be exposed to the elements, like tabletops, pocket or purse, with no protection. No one seems to address that fact. I mean, if they make cases for much harder, glass back phones because they might scratch, then why wouldn't a much softer, exposed screen with no case, not scratch? Also, can the split screen be horizontal, as well as, vertical?
