I was a in the hospital as a kid and sat there trying to figure out magic square. I took notes on it and tried stuff. Eventually I got so good at it I could solve it in 3 to 4 tries and I wondered why I couldn't figure it out to begin with.

Weren't the little football and baseball handhelds really the first? Seems like they were available in the mid 70s.
