Today we are out with the Comanche Twin and will be flying it 2,000 miles back home to the Rescue Hangar. It’s been getting worked on the last few months and is now finally ready to fly again after sitting dormant for 14 years. We’ve done extensive checks to this old plane and everything should be in working order but we have some weather in our path and this is the first time in a long time this aircraft has flown this far so hopefully everything goes to plan!

I owned a Twin Comanche (non-turbo) for 10 years and I loved that old bird! I haven't flown in a while and I sure miss her.

I appreciate the side notes about why stuff like de-icing is important! I love watching the videos, and appreciate learning something new during the process!

The twin Comanche is a lovely aircraft to fly. My family had one in Africa and we flew it all the time with the turbo chargers wide open.

It's lovely to see your Twin Comanche back at Chester County! All Comanches are lovely aircraft in my view and I was doubly glad to see you on YouTube again after that looong break! Best wished from England guys!

KMDH (So. Illinois airport) is where I do my training with SIU. We’ve got great facilities and the restaurant on the field is always an added bonus!
