I remember being 6, and absolutely adoring this song. I'd sing it on repeat in the car, with my mom and dad. Fast forward to now, it's been 10 years, and at 16, I know longer live with my mother, or my dad (they're divorced now) and I try to feel good about that arrangement, but I miss the relationship I had with my mom.

My first love’s nickname was Blu and this song reminds me so much of him. He died last year in a car accident we got into an argument the day before and now I carry this guilt. Appreciate ur loved ones before their time comes life is so short.
