Sorry to comment more than once lol I noticed you got some rapalas those are really good, a tip I learned is switching to a 3 inch swim bait on a jig head I have way better hook up ratio and don't bust the lips off on rocks then be out a 8 dollar lure

Like the braided line idea and the setups. As a novice it would be nice if the store sold full setups. Rod reel spooled. Need a new rod but have to go elsewhere.

Rooster tails are probably the best all around lure. Especially the black and silver. Caught my first 2 salmon off those.

Question on the braid to swivel to flouro set up with clip-on weight on top of the swivel to prevent losing the complete set up.

Now if your weight get caught up on the rocks, floor, wouldn't you lose everything + the swivel if weight is on top the swivel? Or is to goal to not let it get stuck drifting and hope for the best?
