Here we go again. Today, we finally got our hands on the Fractal Design North with the Tempered Glass panel. I felt in love with the mesh version of this case, but oh boy was I wrong. The TG version tops that at all levels. It looks absolutely gorgeous. 👀

Since todays build will focus primarily on content creation, we had to go on another path than a typical gamer would go on.
First of all, we needed to make sure, we get the correct CPU. In this case, we chose the Intel Core i5 13500. This CPU gives us 14 cores clocking at over 5 GHz under full load. For the GPU, we went with the RTX 3060 8GB, since we do not need that much of graphics power. The video files, we will go to render on that machine, will be in 4K at 60 fps. So we will need at least 32GB of RAM. Of course we cranked it up to 64GB, since DDR4 RAM has fallen very low in price.
Since creators need fast SSDs, it was an obvious choice to go with the budget friendly and yet high quality ssd called fanxiang S770 2TB. It features super high read and write speeds and of course is PCIe Gen 4.0. Since we will expand the storage at some point, we need a mainboard, that offers multiple PCIe Gen 4.0 slots. That's because we need to ensure those high speeds for our future ssds, too. So the choice we made was the Asus Z690-P, since it gives us three such slots in total.
We packed this setup into the beautiful Fractal North featuring a tempered glass side panel. This time, we did not change the preinstalled fans and didn't add any, since our setup doesn't produce that much heat. The preinstalled fans on this case are PWM and 140mm in size, which gives us a silent and high airflow. To cool the CPU and keep the noise level low, we installed a be quiet! Pure Rock 120mm Towerfan. Also for quiet operation, we packed in a be quiet power supply.
Just to mention it: This PC can of course also be used for gaming. I just would save some money on the mainboard and go with a B660/ B760 chipset. Also I would crank up the GPU a bit and go with the RX 6700 XT, since it features 16GB of VRAM. The RAM might be a bit overkill, but it doesn't cost that much so one could leave it as it is.
