Thanks for uploading buddy. I'm really undecided about getting one of these. The front cover looks really good but the pages do look cheap as you say. I wouldn't say they're a low price point though. In the UK they retail for around £80, which I think is around $120, it doesn't really seem like you get much bang for your 'book'.

I just got mine and it feels like a $20 halloween prop. I like the sculpt, at least the front of it, but the paintjob flattens it and has really dull look.

These can actually look really great with a little bit of extra work. If you work the pages right it actually fluffs out nice so it don’t look as thin. Then the pages just need some weathering

I bet the custom one you got looks a lot better. I kinda feel like this one would look okay on the shelve with the front, depending on the lightning that hits it.

Yours is painted so much better than the one that I got. Mine is just molded in a dark brown with some random splotches of slightly darker brown color. The eyes/nose/mouth aren't painted in at all and just get completely lost in the sculpt. Definitely doesn't look like a $100 product.

Got one for my kid for Christmas ( well, all of us, since it will go on our Evil Dead shelf) Honestly, I like it, but agree it could have been more complete. The price does bother me, but it is whaf it is. It'll look great on the shelf, and that's the most important thing. Great video!

Ah man. I just bought one. It's getting delivered tomorrow. I just wanted to put it in my display case with all my evil dead figures and my Bruce Campbell autographs. Now that I've watched your video. It does look kinda lack luster. No ear on the back 😩

The replica for the 2013 remake is far more frightening! I bought a copy of the original version, but is a little more detailed than this one. Has more pages and an ear on the back cover.

Just got mine in brother watched your video before opening it up lol. Yeah I agree it is miss stuff certain writings. But being this is based off part 2 from what I have learned from the movie and other videos guys were saying the book was missing pages and didn't become complete until army of darkness. But it definitely needs more weathering and work. Good review as always!

Would be nice if the pages were coffee stained, more rugged on the edges, maybe even some blood splatters throughout... also no ear on the back.. guess thats just the curse of mass production though
