2005 CTS V with a Ford 8.8 and Borla Exhaust

Progress is slow on this car, but still moving forward. I installed a Borla exhaust and and did a Ford 8.8 conversion with 4.10 gears and Drive Shaft Shop axles. Creative Steel sells the complete bolt in kit and its an easy install.

Would you happen to have an up close picture of where the axle and differential mate? Im wondering if my axle is fully engaged. Also, Did you have any issues with clearance on the drivers side?

Hey there. I watched your CTSV videos. I'm very interested to hear about your experience with the CS 8.8 diff. I have a 04 CTSV with only 7k miles on it but the diff is absolute garbage. I love the car but the whine coming from the rear diff is enough to make me crazy. I would love to speak with you and hear about your experience installing it and how she drives now.
