DCS is amazing and making great progress, plenty of exciting updates are on the way. MSFS 2024 looks breathtaking. This really is a golden age for flight simulators!

Modules are always welcomed to the game, but DCS should focus a bit more on optimization, i think specially on the dedicated server.

Aircraft persistence: Ability for DCS remember my last aircraft condition or situation, or allow aircraft developers implement such. If I leave the aircraft in a certain setting I find it in that setting the next time I get back.

They need to do something as the game is in decline, our group built up over 8 years and run 4 servers, 8 months ago we could get 20-30 a night on with Pretense and Foothold missions, these were built using the base foundation by our mission builders, now these missions don't work at all with lots of ED script errors, so most of of our guys have left as they are just board of the dumb AI in the game and really don't want to play on our custom enhanced TTi missions either, the only people who get excited now anre new players who are fresh to the game as it looks great and flies great, most can see all the AI warts with a year easily.

Great update! Thanks for making this!! MSFS2024 is going to be good but theres some serious issues like being forced to do check rides etc to there get access to the missions. I tink thats a HUGE mistake of their game model. I’m not interested in re-learning things and being forced to play a certain way. I just want to jump in and fly for an hour or so and going through lessons isn[t my idea of fun. Hopefully they will change this. Anyway great video…

Eagle Dynamics talks about terrain optimization? Oh, thank God, I'd hate to think they might actually get around to *doing* some terrain optimization.

ED *talks* about lots of things. ED *promises* things all the time; very frequently, those promises go nowhere. They make tons of promises about how amazing their game *will be* in the future, that they then never get around to actually *doing*. Dynamic campaign, Vulkan API... how long ago were those first promised? A decade?

Get back to me when they actually *do* the improvements. Promises are immaterial.

Watching you backing video, why do plane devs make older planes look like old junk, take the plane @4:55, yes it is 30+ years old and there would be wear and tear but that cockpit looks like it has been sitting on slipway for the last 30 years with the canopy open. These planes we fly in DCS are military and there is no way any airforce would allow their planes to get in this condition, purely it is inviting electrical/mechanical failure
