Luis has to be the most relatable protagonist in the series, even more than CJ. Family issues, annoying but likeable boss, no nonsense attitude, and makes an honest living at a nightclub (when he's not killing anyone anyways).

I played GTA IV and TLATD years ago but never finish TBOGT. Finally played it a few months ago and it was honestly one of the best DLC/games I ever played. Cant stop listening to that pause menu theme

Luis thinks of betraying Tony but chooses not to in a moment because his loyalty to Tony shines very bright. I admire Luis. He's a badass, smart, street wise and no nonsense right hand man of a well established club owner. He also gives his mom some of his money so she could take care of herself. I pity him for his mom sees him as a failure and gangster and he tried so hard to make her happy. He also has to deal with 2 yay pushing old friends Armando and Henrique who he still helps out because they are old friends.
Not to mention Luis gets along really well with Yusuf Amir and helps him out
His help for Yusuf pays off when Yusuf comes and assists him in taking out Russian mobster cars when Luis is hunting down Bulgarin in the final mission
Even though Luis cannot contact Tony after the last mission, he still is seen as a boss to Dessie and maybe Troy
In 1 Club management mission, he has shown patience as he kept getting phone calls from a celebrity assistant on food delivery
Luis has strong moral code, even though he tried to betray Tony but he couldn't because he is grateful for the opportunity Tony gave him as Tony picked him out from prison as part of a program and made him his right hand man.
Luis doesn't take BS when Bulgarin, a powerful Russian, makes fun of Tony and Luis still stuck to Tony because of loyalty and his internal moral code and logical thinking
Even when we see him in the 3 Leaf Clover mission, his logic saved him from being killed by the robbers, sadly the gun club member was rash and died in vain
Luis would of course get back by taking back the diamonds off Niko and Johnny and he can fly helicopters and use them well
Luis is overall a fighter, a loyal man of integrity and badassness
I like Luis a lot, one of my favorite GTA Protagonists

Luis is a great character, he doesn't mess with anybody, only focus on his friends and his mom, no addictions, loyalty, sarcasm and a good sense of humor.

Im Mexican and i know he is Dominican, so, when he spoke spanish in some scenes... That was great 😊
