I've been studying the Amanda Knox/Meredith Kercher case. Something I've been wondering - if a bloody footprint was deposited on a porcelain tile floor and scubbed clean with bleach within a few hours, then several weeks later, revealed with luminol, would the luminol stain be in the shape of the original footprint, or would the cleanup have distorted the stain into an amorphous blob?

Also, under what circumstances would a TMB for blood deliver a false negative result (showing no blood when blood was actually present)?

I have suspicions there is the presence of blood that could be related to the death of a loved one. The fluid that I'm suspicious of is trapped inside a car mirror. What do I look for or is it possible we can talk more in email about this? I'd like to know something more about it before I ask the police to become involved.

If you don't have that solution just use peroxide and save the sample.

Will the test contaminate the blood? And what if there isn't enough blood at the crime scene to perform the test and still have enough left to analyze? Just wondering
