Not specific to this video, but more in general: can you convert all the measurements (sizes, weight) (on screen) into metric system? Would be appreciated by the European viewers a lot I think :)

I'm a touring musician. So my bass is on my back. I need a duffle style bag that can pass for a personnel item if not over packed. I purchased this bag. I wish it had a clamshell opening. it can be hard to pack the traditional way you. A garment folder. etc. No problem if you're not worried about wrinkled clothing. Their old style duffle can do this. It also has no compression, so it always looks big. I just ordered Pakt One V2 to compare. I ordered the 35lbecause sometimes the extra space is needed. I fly around 100 flights a year and this style of bag never draws attention. My bass on the other hand is another matter! Thanks for your videos!

Nice travel bag. I have the Aer Weekend Traveler. I wished they have one that is slightly smaller for ultra light weekend travel.

100% agree on packing cubes. Wasn’t about that life based on my experience with cheap Eagle Creek ones from a decade ago. Then I tried Peak Design ones. Now I get it.

When you do these reviews, can you fill out the bag with more representative items? Like a pair of boots/shoes and maybe a coat? Great reviews all round anyway!

Yeah, was gonna say, wait until the main area gets packed out with a few cubes and kits. I love the idea of this bag for weekend trips or conferences with a garment bag. For the intended use case, AER knocked it out of the park. Great review! 👍

I finally decided on the Aer after comparing it with the Pakt and Peak Design. The Pakt was not much different from the Aer, but at a much higher price point and the laptop feature is not that important for me. The PD was too 'duffel' and did not seem much different from one of my North Face bags.

Not sure yet how I am going to use the front pocket, but this is going to be a great second bag for longer trips. FWIW I purchased the 700D gray option which looks fantastic with a softer feel. The black Cordura looks too much like my tactical bags.

Overall Aer makes some nice products and I also purchased the Day Sling 3 and Travel Kit 2.

Do you think the Aer duffle would fit in a personal item on spirit Airlines

Usually I love Aer's design, but it doesn't look good as a duffel.
A good alternative for this one (but more expansive) is the Black Ember Forge.

BTW great review! even though I don't like duffels, I liked seeing what you thought of it 💪🙂

How would you compare the Aer Travel Weekender and Aer Gym Duffel 3? What would you choose? I am hoping to use the bag for both gym and short trips.

Are you planning on reviewing the Black ember Dex, when it ships out? I'd love to hear your oppinion on that duffel, since it looks very promissing to my needs.

If you had to choose between this bag and evergoods TD35, which would you pick?

Had been eyeing the Aer gym duffel 3 (although idk where I can still buy one) for a while until I came across the aer travel weekender. Would you consider the travel weekender to be an update to the gym duffel? It seems quite similar in terms of look and organisation. Looking for a duffel that could also be used for roadtrips and work- the dedicated shoe compartment just seems like a nice addition to a duffel

great review! I am very much considering this but ideally would like something about 10% smaller. Do you have any recommendations?

I would say, I prefer the way you film "WANDRD Duo Daypack Review", walking around the city, and talking about the bag

I bought this for the gym. Before that I was using a 45 L Serious Steel gym bag. Was too big. I ordered Knkg 33 L duffel but it was poorly constructed so I got this and I love it. The Aer Duffel 3 was too small for the gym, it’s made for gym casuals.

Do you think this would be good paired with the AER Fit Pack 3 for a week-long trip overseas? Or would the AER Travel Pack backpack be a better choice? I already have the Fit Pack and feel like getting two backpacks might be silly, but I'm worried that carrying a heavy duffel bag around for hours might be a bit much.

Anyone have good suggestions for an all in one ? I have a 16” MBP so there has to be a good laptop compartment. I also go to the gym and carry a lifting belt, knee sleeves, wrist wraps, shoes and toiletries. Apart from this I usually carry my chargers, notebooks, and other small items. Suggestions would be much appreciated !
