I’d like to see the HPI Jumpshot SC FLUX compared to the Traxxas Slash :)

I think you hit the nail on the head at the end, both are great vehicles BUT they are totally different price points so aimed at different sectors of the market. One of the biggest issues with the Traxxas is those stupid proprietary battery connectors, what a stupid idea! A lot of the FTX parts are the same across multiple cars in their range, spares prices are dirt cheap, and they're readily available. Personally I'd go for the Zorro, but each to their own. Great video though👍

I have had both over the years, I have the zorro now it's a great platform. The ftx is cheaper in money but not in quality. The traxxas is a amazing platform if you have the money for it and upgrades.

Definitely would love you to put the Apache on the list. I am seriously looking at it at the moment and like your in-depth pro and cons that you did with the Zorro and slash.

This is an excellent comparison review. One thing I don't think you mentioned was the ease with which you can work on the Slash. With the removal of three or four screws you can easily remove the back end or front end and have access to the diffs. In the U.S. parts availability would be a question falling in favor of the Slash.

A must for the Zorro is a dust cover, when I had mine something broke every time I took it out. So was sold after a few weeks, personally I`d go for an Arrma Senton.

I got a Zorro brushless as a roller, direct from CML for £100, and dropped a cheap Surpass Hobby brushless system into it (4500kv), and it's a rocket ship. I've run it for over a year, and nothing has broken from the extra power.

I love the Zorro platform, but would be more interested to see the Apache up again that, than the Slash. I don't have the kind of money to drop £600 on a car, and the smiles per £ with pretty much all the FTX cars, far outweigh some of the opposition.

They're not perfect, and the electronics can be a bit weak, especially their brushed motors, but everything is so cheap to fix. I'm also interested to see if the Apache shell would fit on the Zorro. It's much more aggressive. 👍🏻

I have a Zorro mainly for being half price of the slash and very happy with it. The only thing I swapped out was the radio gear for my Flysky GT5.

Ftx hands down for me the is way over priced for what you get .. and like you said ftx is not that far behind the slash so I would say FTX for me

Ill always maintain you get the Slash, upgrade it as you break it or the pounds are there to spend on it. Plus the customization is there, RPM coloured parts or the coloured Traxxas replacements. Suspension and tyres transform the performance, and then toughen up your drive line if you want to bash it.

Awesome video and great running footage! I’d be interested in seeing how the Apache compares and also how it stacks up against the Zorro! Not sure if the Apache has a centre diff but has lovely LEDs I understand

Glad to see the cars running as a way to finish off the video. Personally, if it were my money being spent, I'd take the Zorro over either of the two Slash vehicles discussed.

what an excellent indepth review. Would love the Traxxas but have FTX money, so Zorro it is, and I have tons of FTX stuff that will bolt on.
Great video 👍🍺🇬🇧

If overall performance is similar, why spend that extra £300+? It would be interesting to see another comparison with the Apache.

Really good video. No hype or click bait, just an objective review. I've had the first iteration of the Zorro and fitted a cheap banggood brushless system to it. It was great value and immense fun. I'd be really interested in seeing the Apache. I'm keen to get another SC truck and was looking at the associated rival sc10 pro 4.
