This really is one of the greatest rocket stove designs out there for home use. All from recycled materials, too.

Brilliant. For years I thought about how to use all the heat from a rocket stove and this is just brilliant

Great project ! My suggestion - Make the bottom of your square pipe longer so it extends out the back same as the front . also extend the ash tray to be longer so you can use the front face that has the pull handle as an air controller so you can control the heat of your cooking stove. This will give easy control of the stoves heat for more controllable cooking. I really like your design !!!

Wonderful Design!! This is a perfect camp stove. Can fry, bake, cook in a pan, or just use it to heat a tent or small cabin. Very well done sir.

This is great, not only are you using all the heat, you are also preventing your utensils from getting dirty from all the soot. You can probably cook indoors with that just add more pipes and redirect the smoke outside through a window.

This is absolutely a project I would consider making at home. Only change I'd make is to baffle the interior of the lower half of the grill with four partial dividers creating five channels running the length of the grill. Left to right center chamber would be from the firebox entrance to the right side, next two chambers outward would be right to left, and outer chambers would be left to right again under the edge of the griddle running out to the exhaust. That would maximize your use of the combustion and heat, as you distribute it evenly creating a hot spot along the center of the griddle. A lot less smoke and heat escaping the chimney that way.

Some people need to shut up, watch and learn stop focusing on the little things, I personally love the design, I am making one myself .

Thanks you sir .

Just came across your channel here in AUstralia. What a great idea, I will be watching your next video and I have subscribed to your channel. Thanks for taking the time to share your ideas and work, it makes me want to go out into my shed and make something like this myself, thank you for also putting in important details like dimensions too. Many other channels do not do that who make " rocket stove(s) and or variants of them ". Cheers 👍🏾

Thinguage sheetmetal is fine to tacktack weld.
I've seen great welders use that for what needed it.
Best design yet.
Great Fab skills.

I'm thinking of having 1 with this concept using concrete and metal combination. I like it that it won't make the pots dirty plus the oven combination.

Neat litle stove, I was impressed by your ability to weld the thin metal with your stick welder, most people would likely use a MIG welder, or perhaps a Tig welder because those machines seems better suited to welding thin metal, but you have mastered it. 😀
I would not have attempted such a welding job on sheet metal with a stick welder, and using oxy and acetylene would tend to cause warping of the thin metal unless every small weld sectiond made is quickly cooled with a wet rag, and even then it might need some panelbeating to make it look good. I would use MIG, not skilled enough to do such welding with a stick welder.😩
I guess if you made the hotplate of thicker steel it would be more suited for barbecuing as well, but it would then be heavy and take longer to get hot enough to heat up a kettle or pot.!🙄
Stay safe, regards Niels.
