The Expanse New series - Amazon U-turn?

It looked like Alcon were going to try and sell the Exosnse TV series to someone new and Warner Bros. And Apple TV+ were both rumoured to be interested in a spin off project.

Amazon still have control of the series but their time is running out.. will there be a surprise twist to the tale?

The Expanse season 7? A mini series? Tv movie?

What ever, who ever, but don't let The Expanse rot any longer. It's one of the best SciFi series I have seen in a long time and it deserves to be continued.

Cancelling the Expanse was a stupid move. There is a lot of story left in the Expanse and I want to see it.

I bought the whole series of 'The Expanse' on DVD even though I could have watched it for free, because I wanted to support the BEST Sci-Fi Series I had ever seen. I wanted to send a message to everyone involved in the ownership and production of the series that they were on the right track. I was devastated that the series ended. Each character in the series was ICONIC. The story-line was BELIEVABLE and I would definitely say, PROPHETIC. Such intelligent and skillfully written and acted entertainment deserves to be supported by all means possible. The Expanse describes where humanity is destined to go. Somehow it captured the Zeitgeist of the future and there are lessons to be learned by humanity through the story-line. If it does get picked up by Amazon again or another production company, I would like to see the topic of 'AI' to be woven into the story-line. Bring Back The Expanse.!! I just finished a rewatch of the whole show and its even better than i remembered. If the original 3 creators are all onboard and are allowed the creative freedom they need, then it doesn't matter who owns the distribution rights, Ill find a way to watch what they make next

I wouldn't mind a spin-off that takes place concurrently to the main show, like what the Fred Johnson's guys are up to while the Rosci is running around. Or maybe a show depicting the previous naval conflict between Earth and Mars, that would be badass.

What ever you think you'll NEVER do the last three book justice. OMG EPIC is all I have to say! When I first read them I thought " they will never do this justice without a multi-billion dollar budget" but if IF they did omg I would go to the cinema over and over to watch it! If you have not read the last three books ... READ THEM!

I want to see the battle between Duarte's forces and the Earth/Mars/ Trade Federation. I'd like to really see a Magnetar class ship as they are supposed to be 5000 meters long. I'd also like to see them deploy the USM field projector.

I would love to see more from the Expanse. The existing 6 seasons left off with unfinished story lines that are intriguing. I hope someone picks up the series soon.

They added a segue to show the discovery of the rocket drive, a couple of important ones during the interim could round out the gap rather well.

the reason behind the holdback is the lack of well formed agenda that usually persist in the tv show business..on the contrary the Expanse inspires humanity high moral evolution, dignity and the honor of being generally good person. It also reveals the complexity of modern politics on the background of tech. revolution. I believe that many have also noticed, just as I did, the change of tone when the production went into the hands of amazon! These people are not interested in you being entertained, they are into the brain wash business. Reading the books is the best option, don't count on the brainwashers to provide anything else!!! Money is not the issue, it never was, they are mindlessly rich. That is my opinion!!! Further on into the books you will find the good all search for immortality and total power which in turn changes the human nature it self..begs the question is it worth it to live forever if that changes you completely...This show is a lot more than it seems at first glance and there is the hidden Easter egg that we all feel but only some really understand! Make no mistake, every production that comes out has a message!

I've been a sci-fi fan for over 50 years and I can't think of a better show (IMO) than The Expanse. From the plausible projection of the human timeline forward a few hundred years into the future (assuming civilization makes it that long); the amazingly relatable and realistic character development - few are purely good, or purely evil; and the astonishing attention paid to the actual physics of space travel and operating in zero G (not perfect, but pretty darn good) - I just can't get enough of it (currently finishing season 4 on my third run through). I hope they do more with this show or use the same writers & production crew to continue making such high quality science fiction.
