Paul, good to have you back. I have the jacket, mainly because I will be using it as an outer in the Spring, Summer and early Autumn and as a layering piece for when it is colder. It is excellent and I think that I will be switching to this type of jacket for active use rather than a soft shell.

I've recently bought 5 Cirrus Flex tops, including a couple from Trekitt, in various colours/versions/generations, before ever purpusefully wearing any of them. And probably won't now until autumn. I'm suddenly wondering if the fleece side panels make them an odd proposition. Does it give rise to needing to wash them more frequently than desirable, or required for all-round insulated jackets? I can see how a wash after an active holiday would be justified. But for something like winter commuting, would they end up quickly feeling like they needed a wash? I consider myself a relatively odour-free body, fortunately. But I can't imagine wearing the same fleece for more than a week's commute. I'm keeping them all still. Love the look.

Looks to me that the Montane Icarus stretch jacket and the Rab Cirrus flex are very similar. A video that compares them together would be very interesting.

Would you liken this to and atom LT? I do like the look of these not sure if I need one given that I have an atom LT. That being said. You can never have too many jackets

Hi Paul, I wonder whether Cirrus Flex will perform the same as Microlight Alpine in terms of warmth? Any thoughts perhaps?

Hi guys. I currently have the non hooded version in my Trekitt basket. Had to return the Montane Icarus as it’s too snug around my waist and hips.
Just wanted to know if the Cirrus Flex has any more room around this area before I buy? Cheers Ben
