Retro Remake | Sewing Selena’s Purple Jumpsuit | DIY

Hey y'all! Showing ya how I DIYed Selena Quintanilla's iconic purple jumpsuit in this retro 90's remake! Tried to give as many details as possible in case you decide to make it too! I made the jumpsuit (minus the bolero) with no pattern, and while I did take my time (days and days lol) it should be pretty easy to recreate. Tag me if you do follow this tutorial, I'd love to see! Used about 4 yards of fabric to make the entire outfit (but bought extra to be safe lol)

I ADORE this!! I love this and your Maria Felix look. It's inspiring to see other latinas in the historical dress/diy sewing community, and really more diversity in general!! I love historical dress youtube, but it does tend to be a little euro-centric. I'm gonna learn how to sew so I can make this iconic look :) when you break it down it actually is a pretty simple garment!
