I am deeply frustrated by the sole focus on Far Right Extremism, while totally ignoring Far Left Extremism, which is becoming increasingly violent and affecting the lives of many law abiding citizens who are not polarised. I predicted ten years ago that we were going to see a sharp rise in Far Right groups and activity. I could see that the impetus for this was the rise in neo-liberalism and Far Left groups like ANTIFA and BLM and especially since the war in Syria and consequent sudden increase immigration, which was badly managed by the international community. All extremism is a reaction to changes people consider unfavourable and challenges not met by government, thus resulting in a reduction in social cohesion, safety and quality of life. Yes you do need to listen to the grievances of all extremist groups, far right and far left, for they have reasons for joining these groups and if these grievances, some of which are valid, cannot be addressed by government, then you will not be effective in addressing the problems of an increasingly polarised society.

Around 1:20, this man says that "we need to meet these grievances with alternative solutions". I challenge him to name those solutions. I am an intelligent young man, a university student, and I am afraid to say that I have become a supporter of the far-right because my own sense of reason, my own critical thinking, has made me see that the left talks, but never thinks or acts.

We are headed for war in all of Europe. The welfare state cannot last under current circumstances, let alone current circumstances if added to by this mass migration from Africa and the Middle East. Per one hundred European citizens, it is estimated that in the last five years alone organized criminal gangs and radical groups have purchased and stored several new firearms. The moment European governments become unable to cough up the money required to feed, shelter and bribe the large dependent populations in the inner cities, there will be revolts. And because European armies are gutted, it will get ugly. By the way, this is not just my fear - the French security services are already drawing up contingency plans.

Fifty years from now, nothing will remain of the current order of things. Of current borders, of current cities. Of the monuments our ancestors built centuries ago, very few will survive iconoclastic rebels and urban warfare. Of all idealism, all humanitarianism, nothing will remain in the face of acute food, fuel and water shortages of the kind we see in Syria. This is the future that I genuinely believe we face, based on all information currently available to me.

Unless the left, the centre-left or the centre-right is able to convince me that this is not the case, or that there is a painless solution to this, I will cast my lot with the far-right, because at least they acknowledge that there is a problem.
