What would you see if you had eight eyes? Would you get a better view of the world around you?

Unlock the answers to these questions and more in Spiders – a joint exhibition between Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre and the Australian Museum.

Challenge a peacock spider to a dance-off to find out if you’re friend or foe, discover what happens when a spider ‘balloons’ away or if vegetarian spiders exist!

Featuring up to 200 spider specimens, you’ll be zig-zagging your way through the fascinating displays and interactive exhibits uncovering the secretive lives of these web-weavers, hunters and burrowers.

Did you know?
-There is a spider in Australia that has evolved to look like bird droppings to deter predators?
-That the female tarantula can live for over 20 years in captivity?
-That if a predator grabs a spider’s leg it can be self-amputated?

Are you ready to journey through the mysterious world of Spiders?
