English Sentence Structure - Basic English Grammar

In this video, let's talk about English sentence structure so you can master basic English grammar. We'll talk about how to form sentences when you have two verbs side by side.

The structure we'll examine is: Subject + Verb + Verb

And we'll specifically look at the second verb so you know what structure you need.

There are many different options for your sentence structure for the first verb. It needs to be conjugated according to the time reference and according to the subject.

Now, your second verb has two options. It can be either the infinitive (to + verb) or the gerund (verb+ING). Do you know when to use the infinitives and gerunds in English?
