DENSE DISCRETE PHASE MODELING (DDPM) PARTICLE FLOW SIMULATION
It's a 2D Geometry in which Air is flowing. The Particles are injected from a radial direction into the flow. Simulate this problem using ANSYS fluent. Find out the outlet mixture velocity after 1 minute.

What would you learn from this tutorial?
How to model a 2D Planner geometry and meshing using ANSYS.
In setup, you would learn how to model a Particle flow problem in a Fluent solver.
How to set up the particle injection.
In result, we would see the pressure difference between the two sections.

Please explain the physical meaning of the options in granular properties and all other options we are using. Otherwise it becomes hard to understand what we are doing actually.

My "data file quantities" in Ansys Fluent is inactivated even if I completed initialization. Can you help me please?

If you cannot click the data file quantities, try this:
go File --> Preferences --> General: Default Format for I/O --> Change it to Legacy --> OK

sir i have question, after initalization popup message said I don't have data and in your video you goes after that file and click data file quantities, that data file quantities are not working in my side, kindly suggest if I am doing mistake.

Actually, I want to simulate a jet stream from orifice geometry(pressure atomizer) with liquid water (multi-phase - vapor) later the jet stream should break into DPM droplets so that I can estimate droplet size. Is there any way where I can couple these two, multi-phase and DPM in Ansys
Thank You

Your videos are best as always. I'll suggest one topic see if you can make simulation video on this

Injection of vaporized water inside a cylindrical chamber with air flowing through inlet. Explanation: there is cylindrical chamber with inlet at one end and outlet at other. Air is flowing through that chamber. There is one injector which injects vaporized water (steam). First the water flows in liquid form and during injection it changes its state to gaseous.

I cannot Understand anything regarding gradient, and other variables at all. Is there any study material you can suggest me so that I can get an idea regarding Partical flow simulation? pls?

Hello, Thanks for nice video. May I ask why "Add Frozen" in the operation tab of design modeler ?

Hello, hope you are well and thank you for your video. Is it possible to map the sum of particle volume fraction and the sum of the particle volume at each cell? This is so I can use it as a part of a field function along with other constants and displaying the contour for it. Would appreciate your help.

Thank you!

Greetings! I have struck in developing a reaction between Methane and Steam in CFD. If you have any content on the chemical reaction at elevated temperature and pressure using species transport and Chemkin thermodynamic, surface reaction files, kindly revert back.

Hi sir. Thanks for your very helpfull videos. I have an error: "floating point exception" and recheked all initial variables & BC, but i take the message every time. Can it be because of installation crack or something else...!?

Please, In what order can I follow your videos to comprehensively learn ANSYS Fluent from the scratch. I need to learn it for my finals project for the numerical simulation of atmospheric water generator.

it is very nice and instructive. i have a question, is there a way to build a UDF code to calculate the particle history?

Thank you for your video!
I have a question, we have similar simulation but a 3D case, when we put time steps 6000 it takes very long for the calculation(approx 2 hours for 20 time steps), so we pause it. Are we doing something wrong? Or it is supposed to be that long? (Our mesh is fine)
