Unpopular Opinion: I love the 3-cylinder diesel noise, actually any 3-cylinder to be honest, like a mini straight-six. The transmission is an acquired taste I suppose, but if it gets good fuel economy that's what counts. 3-cylinder diesels are not particularly rev-happy anyway, and if you want more performance the petrol CVT is suprisingly quick (8.5-9 seconds to 100 i've seen on youtube).

The 1.5CDTI Engine got a 9 speed Automatic, not 8.

What the hell is that shift at 0:22? If I didn't know it was a 9 speed auto, I would say it's a CVT doing a terrible job at fake shifting.
And 3 cylinder diesel... It was good in the VW Lupo back in 2001. But not in a car that costs 30k euros in 2020.
